The 24Shells web hosting provider team is proud to announce new services for all dedicated server hosting clients. The new services are part of the company’s ongoing mission to provide excellent, innovative services for our clients and to promote security for all internet users. Some of the new features include:
Remote reboot – With remote reboot capability IT professionals and webmasters can automatically reboot their servers from anywhere. This gives more flexibility for virtual offices and net-nomads who constantly work from different locations on a regular basis.
Power control – The power control feature allows the website owner total control over their dedicated server by providing an on/off switch. This provides great control over security should an unknown threat be realized. By turning the power off remotely and immediately valuable data is not compromised.
Bandwidth graphing – Advanced bandwidth profiling and utilization graphs provide customers with a simple and very effective method of managing their bandwidth usage. Detailed historical data covering the lifetime of their servers allows customers to easily predict future resource usage as well as track usage on an hourly basis helping to ensure no untimely delays ever occur. This will help provide website and server owners with an efficient means of cost management helping to ensuring the best possible online experience for their users.
Private network backbone – A free private network backbone between client servers has been added to all dedicated server clients. This makes intercommunication between your servers highly secure and extremely fast. The private network backbone does not count towards your public bandwidth which will help to provide better redundancy and backup options for customers with multiple servers.
Coming soon – 24Shells is currently developing an RDNS Management and an OS reload option for the control panel. Both will provide yet another layer of security and functionality for our customers.
